    kill switch

    hey guys i have a 1997 Yamaha superjet and i was cleaning it up and giving it a run and wen i went to switch it off it wouldn't stop. I had to pull of the spark plug leads. not even pulling the lanyard out would work but its strange last time i started it it was fine please help is it my switch do i need a new 1??? or would it be something els thanks a lot i plan to take it to the shop soon the guys who has it before me never had it serviced it said it was like a lawnmower engine i almost wanted to shoot him right there but i thort that i would get a complete service. Its about time it got one hahah well what do u guys think the problem is ???

    I would say your switch unit needs replaced
