I have a RXP 2005 with an overheating issue what I put in was

    -Riva spring valve
    -solas pro
    -Intercooler
    -Block Guard

After all this I have High -T and dash after few minutes riding
I made a bigger hole on J-Pipe cause I thought was Ex hight temp
But Now I don't thing that's the problem cause my coolant reservoir started boiling and puting alll coolant out
So I checked all hose from water pump and I changed from different position and recheck still same problem
I took off thermostat and Not change
    My question it's
Could be the Block Guard causing this issue??

Check the hose going to the thermostat and make sure that they are not reverse, go to riva website and download the riva instruction for the thermostat upgrade to make sure that the hoses are were they supposed to be otherwise you could have a blown head gasket.

sounds to me that you cant keep presure in the system to stop the boiling, idk it could be just a cap, but sounds like you been though alot, even replaceing a head gasket?

oh and you might want to look into this

Having exactly the same problem... Never had any issues with overheating until I added the RR ECU & Upgraded from a B-kit to a Rude2. I'm running a RR 158 thermo, so didn't expect any cooling problems.

The RR ECU & Rude2 moved me from [email protected] to [email protected] Doesn't seem like a large enough of a change in either RPM or load to kick off an overheating issue, but maybe I was already on the edge. Am I past the ability of the ride plate to transfer heat efficiently? Anything I can do to increase the cooling efficiency of the stock system? Drill the restrictor washer in the pump out?

First I plan to do a complete drain and refill of the cooling system. Followed by a complete by the manual air purge. However I doubt this will resolve the issue.

Any ideas? I'm open to them.

No the block guard will not make it overheat. Did you install it slightly below the block deck?
