    Reliability for RXP

    Hi,

    I have a RXP '05 with little modifications (goes 79 mph on the fresh water) and I wanna make this thing little reliable. What update you recommend for the engine's moving parts ?

    - Camchain + pins for joining ?
    - flywheel bolts ?
    - what else ???

    Hours are 92 h

    BR,

    Pekka Salmi, Finland

    If your moving 79 MPH, you have more than a "Little" modification.. I've been 80 + for 100 hours with no real major problems.. If your looking for all out reliabilty, buy a 2009 with a 5 year warantee.. If you want to keep the mod level your at, just pay attention and keep up on the maintance.. There really isn't a fix for high horsepower motors, just band-aides..

    I wish 80 is a big hurdle, my full stage III built by Riva would hardly ever break 79MPH.. LOTS of money later, i'm still only around 85MPH

    RXP reliability

    ----> PWC goes 79 mph on the +13 of celsius on the air and +7 on the water... Now on the warm summer PWC goes +77 mph...

    "Little modifications" including ;

    - X charger + better impeller and housing and little grinding and porting of housing with 4" airfilter + own made and flow matched venturi + AEM filter
    ---> high speed pressure Is +13 psi

    - Bosch 4-hole 45lb injectors + RRFPR

    - Own made water intercooler

    - Own made exhaust

    - I was set up AFR to 11.6--12.4 with wide band lambda

    - ECU Is a original and has 8200 rpm

    - Pump has porting with 15/22R +3mm repitching, own made stainless steel wear-ring with 0,10 mm clearance. 81mm nozzle with little modifications for better change of turbulentical flow to laminar flow

    - R&D aquavein with modifications, O.P.A.S. removed...

    - RXP goes to the limiter with this kind pump modifications...

    - Every holes and tight corners of bottom of hull has refilling

    Yes, PWC has lots of "own made" parts, but I spend only 2500 $ (1900 €uros) for modifications...

    Yes, lot's of hours goes, but something must to do...

    In the next winter we plan to do little porting and cam-grinding and try to go the 80 mph...

    Now I need little help for my engine reliability ;

    Is't RXP camchain or flywheel bolts a problem / crunch ??
