Suggestions in restoring Aluminum?
I'm attempting to restore a 2004 Polaris Freedom which has pretty bad corrossion in the propulsion area. Any suggestions on cleaning this up?
I'm guessing there must be some chemical treatment that can clean it up.

-Bake in oven at 300 for 1 hour and cool.
-Dip in aircraft stripper and let it remove the powdercoat.
-Sand blast with mild media.
-Inspect. If not pitted, sand it and have it powdercoated.
-If pitted, replace.
or just sand it off the best you can, rattle can it, and go ride some more.
