GPRXP Conversion Drive Shafts
Note: this is a modification performed to your core shafts.

This conversions drive shaft, along with the motor mounts provide a quick, easy way to install your 2004+ SeaDoo 4-Tec engine into the 2000-2008 Yamaha GPR hull.

-Uses OEM shafts
-no need for a separate mid shaft support
-can use RXP OR RXT driveshaft for the conversion
-Uses late model 02-08 GPR mid shaft
-Allows for a direct installation of OEM Yamaha pumps, or aftermarket pumps designed for the GPR
-Can be used with a SeaDoo pump adapter.

What to send:
-RXP OR RXT driveshaft with good engine side splines. Remove and keep the rubber bumper for re-assembly. SeaDoo shaft may be cut to 12”. Send engine side(small Splines)
-02-08 GPR midshaft. Must have good internal splines.
-Return Shipping / Contact information

-Machining of your 4tec driveshaft
-Assembly of your conversion shaft

The 08+ SeaDoo shafts not only have the rubber coating, but also have a different carbon seal flange/ bearing race. Lead times will be longer than the usual 2-3 days on any 08+ seadoo parts because instead of an exchange, I need to machine and return you specific parts. Lead time could be 2-3 weeks.


Here is the part # and cross reference of the 02 GPR midshaft. Any of these will work for this setup. Aftermarket shafts WILL NOT WORK!

I'm about to start my gprxp build this winter I just picked up a gpr hull. Now I know I wanna run a seadoo pump set up and I see the pic you posted of the mid shaft. Now on the back side of that does another shaft goin the back to the impeller. Or is that straight threw?

Also, could any seadoo 4 tec shaft work since you will be cutting it off anyway? I know all of the splined engine ends are the same except for are different placement of the carbon shaft seal clip slot.
