SOLD WTB GPRXP MIDSHAFT 1st GEN

Need a first generation type conversion midshaft for my GPRXP. Need the one that mounts to the "L" bracket which is mounted 2 inches rearward. I have the wrong one and it won't allow my pump to go all the way in.

What length is your driveshaft??

Pump's driveshaft is 28" I have a skat 14vein and HO pump and both have the 28" driveshaft I have the wrong midshaft, I have the one that mounts to the midwall, but ski does not have a midwall, it has the L- bracket box that the front intake grate bolts go into

What WFO describes in the pic post below is exactly the conversion midshaft that I need:

Do you have the 2" extension?? Trying to help and see if you don't have to try and find that old ass midshaft.

Thanks I do appreciate any and all help. Yes I do have the 2" pump spacer. The issue I am having is I have the wrong conversion shaft for my application. My ski does not have the midwall. It has the "L" bracket which is also where the front intake grate bolts attach to. Using this location the midshaft assembly is pushed back approximately 2" and this is the reason I cannot slide the pump assembly all the way into the transom plate.

I have a bracket that will work it's custom bent SS And is in Stock Midwall location.

I'm thinking I need to be using a conversion shaft with this Yamaha midshaft:

That shaft you have will work with this bracket as that is the setup I was running. I also found a nice aluminum hose side housing from a boat much better then the hacked Midwall piece.

Looks very promising. I do like that hose side aluminum piece. I've looked at those on eBay, but was not sure it would work with the GPR bearing. Can the front intake grate bolts use that plate as well?? What is the thickness of that plate?? 1/4"??

Yes it mounts to the intake botls/block. It's 1/8" stainless steel

Hmmmmm, do you think 1/8" is solid enough?? Looks like it could use some reinforcement, to keep any vibration to a minimum. By the way this is going into the HallPass GPR

The one in mine is still going strong as far as I know. I signed that ski at Mud Bug..

what you need to do is measure the length of your mid shaft and see if someone can measure there's.

Yes I have read the build thread on the HallPass GPR several times and did see the pics with all the signatures on it before it got painted. I'm finally getting around to putting the ski back together and when I tried to fit the pump I ran into this snag. Didn't realize I had the wrong shaft until I tried putting it together. Should of bought the Teds shaft when HallPass had it up for sale, just didn't think at the time I needed it. I still want to go with the bracket that was originally on it. If I can't find one of those older conversion shafts, I can fabricate one myself. I've been searching for some dimensions on those shafts, I think i just need the length. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
