It's finally come time to part with my baby.
This is the 2000 SLH 700 that got a major transplant with a 1200. I moved to NC from TX in 2014 and sadly haven't ridden it since then. The last registration sticker on it is from 2014. It was fogged and the fuel was completely drained before I moved and sat in my enclosed garage for the last 6 or 7 years. I recently moved again and don't have a place to store it other than in my pole barn and it's just going to get beat up by the weather out there. Time to go.
I bought this way back around 2011 or so. I had a newly built engine with a brand new crank and pistons. I put maybe 20-30 hours on it since I've owned it.
Has a hot seat 1 piece head, K&N spark arresters, carb was brand new with only a couple rides on it before it was stored, pump was also new with only a few hours on it.
Seat is fully intact, but the vinyl is starting to show some age - getting a little faded and hard.
Turf is peeling up. I have a brand new set that will go with it.
Dash pad has some rough edges. I have a nearly new MFD (the fancy one with the compass) that will go with it.
Asking $3500.
Located in Reidsville, NC - north of Greensboro. About and hour and half from Raleigh, 2 hours from Charlotte. Close to Lynchburg and Roanoke, VA.
Trailer is not included, but will sell with the ski for an additional $500. Tires are completely toast. I have a forklift and tractor and can load the ski or the ski+trailer on to your trailer easily.
Also have a ton of domestic parts that buyer will get first dibs at buying with the ski.
I plan to pull it out and give it a good bath and pull the heads to verify everything looks good inside before a buyer makes the trip to pick it up.
