    • XLT bucket is way lower profile than the FX. We’ll see what fits. I don’t know if I still have the XLT brackets so maybe it will mount to the FX brackets, maybe not.

      • Well the new kill switch is on the way, I’ll wire that in and start messing with the Microsquirt, throttle calibration and injector flow. I’m hoping the timing wheel I engraved is on the moving truck since I haven’t seen it in my bags of ski stuff. My priority is getting it running and starting tuning, then I’ll do the dashboard/tach install on a rainy day. And probably do the reverse install over the “winter”

        • For my own curiosity, I just hooked the battery up and neither the speedo or fuel pump are waking up. So the Micro isn’t waking up the secondary relay. Hopefully it’s setting in the software and not my wiring

          • Well the tablet doesn’t want to stay on unless it’s plugged in to the charger. Good thing I put an outlet on the ski. I calibrated the TPS at 0% and 100%.

            • It’s also looking like I wired up the fuel pump relay wrong. Nothing that’s powered by that relay wakes up during ECU wake up (like the speedometer). And I went in to the test menu and hit Fuel Pump Run and nothing happens so it’s not a programming/condition setting. So it’s time to grab the Fluke and start checking where my wires are crossed.

              • Figured it out, the Tachometer output and Fuel pump relay pins got switched in the triangle Duestch connector. Swapped them and it still didn’t work so I checked continuity back and forth and finally realized I didn’t insert the pins all the way when I “fixed” it. Dumb mistake. Well it works now. Wideband is hit or miss but I think it’s battery voltage related so it’s on the charger now

                • Spent most of the day playing electrician on a dryer and house wiring, but found time to test the VTS. It’s getting power through the fuel pump relay. Not being controlled by the ECU in any way, just straight power to VTS then switches on handlebars control the grounds.

                  • Had to do some small repairs to the 3D printer but it’s laying a 1mm thick test panel to see if I made the dashboard the right shape

                    • I ordered the PETG filament to print the gauge pod, and ordered the tachometer. That’ll be next week’s project. Today the kill switch showed up so I bench tested it and then wrapped and wired it in. It works great.

ID:	6158377 So I’m removing the Tiny Tach. In case you’re just tuning in, it’s an inductive tach wrapped around an ignition coil, and I’m replacing it with a round gauge tach fed an actual signal from the Microsquirt. I’ve had it on a bicycle bar mount, which has a GoPro mount on the opposite side. So I just flipped it over and I’m planning on keeping it for either video, or the Garmin Etrex. I’m printing a test mount for that now.

                        • So of course I saw something I didn’t like, the VTS switch box wiring bundle didn’t have loom on it where it went through the hull. So I de-pinned the connector, pulled everything up out of the hull, made the wires the same length, re-wrapped and loomed the whole thing and pushed it back through the grommet then battled the grommet for about 30 minutes it get it back in place. All good now.

                          • Might tweak it a little more but it’s just about ready to print in a better filament

                            • Man I HATE removing the fairings from the GPR. But I finally got the old dash out and put my little panel on to compare. The bolt holes don’t quite line up up the ones I drilled previously so I need to decide if I’m going to oval out the holes or revise the STL.

                              • And a few minutes with the dremel and now the 3 gauges will slide in. Once the printer finishes, I’m going to start a full gauge pod, 15 hour print. Which is crazy since I’m using cheap ass pla and only 10% infill. I’m sure the real version will be 20+ hours
