Hay Lee whats up. I think I might have to take you up on that nozzle. I would at least like to get a look at it. I would like to try to make one out of a stock nozzle. We'll see.

A little update. I changed the impeller from an fx140 to fxho, i changed the nozzle and steering nozzle from stock gp1200r to sho, i adjusted the trim from 5deg negative to 5deg positive, and stepped the stock sponsons. With a full tank of gas and calm, but not smooth water I hit 61mph. Thats up 6mph from previous testing. I only got to make one run before having to tow in a friend. By the time I got back out there and went up stream to find the water was glass my gps battery died! I know it had atleast an 2-3 mph in it as it sits, but not today. Once I get the battery mount fabbed up and installed I will post more pics. I'm also working on a cooling fan setup. I can't wait to see if it realy helps.

        Happy Thanksgiving to all.

I recently made some changes and took it back out. I changed the oil to Mobil 1 0-20 full syn. I removed all the grease from the pump bearings and used Mobil 1 gear lube 80-90 full syn. Then I headed up river in search of perfectly smooth water. There I hit 65mph. i think thats all she wrote for speed for now. Untill i tear the motor out to paint the hull, because at that time i plan on making more hull mods. I also need to properly shim the motor. I just eyeballed it for now. Then I think I will be alot closer to 70mph.
Thanks and happy new year to every one!
