Just a reminder. Make sure to refer to that hull as a gpr while asking questions, etc... The GP and GPR are two different boats.

        What engine are you using?

LIKE I SAID I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT YAMAHAS

KEEP IN MIND EVERYONE I WOULD LIKE THIS TO BE UPWARDS OF A 100 MPH BOAT IN THE END IF POSSIBLE.

DONT HAVE THE ENGINE YET, GONNA BE A WHILE ON THAT SO WHAT SHOULD I BE LOOKIN FOR? CERTAIN YEAR SEA DOO?

Got the hull degreased and cleaned out somewhat today...

From what i am reading there are only 2 hull cuts correct?

1 at the bottom and 1 on the stringer?

Talking to hydrotoys and i wanna do this the right way. Gonna start with a supercharged engine first, learn about the characteristics of this hull and then go turbo later when i have some more knowledge.

Want to build a bulletproof boat from the start...

Has anyone ever painted inside the engine compartment?

                    What kind of paint?

Only 2 major cuts and the rest is pretty easy. Major learning curve on the GPR hull so do as much reading as possible. Getting over 95 is very dangerous and should proceed with caution IMO.. Like Hydro said, start with a SC before going turbo.

I don't suggest paint, without lots of prep. It's just not worth it, and only adds weight to the hull.

You can't see it once the engine's in anyway.

If possible, get a running RXP and do the swap directly, and go from there.

                            Looking good!

Wouldn't paint it if I were you. All the 2stroke oil over the years has soaked into the SMC and there is no way to get it all out. Paint will eventually flake and make a huge mess.

P.S. Tried calling you back today. Water testing most of the afternoon.
