Mine is tucked in back of the I/C next to the exhaust outlet. Its very tight but works.

BD does that not interfere with your trim cable?
are you guys laying it on anything or just strapping it straight down to the hull?

You need to make a cutout in the bracket for the cable.

BD thanks for the 2nd pic, much better and I see how you did it. Guess I need to find some more aluminum. I am going to assume it doesn't interfere with the freeflow tube?

BD and Ink, what size plate you guys running?
How thick of a piece of aluminum are you using?
Thanks guys, I really appreciate it.

Mines a 16 plate and the mount is 1/4 inch aluminum... Im probably going to wind up using a 30 plate but I wanted to try the 15 first to see if it was efficient enough.

Your wate routing will determine what size HX you run...

actually my HX will determine my water routing as I already bought the 30 plate, hahahaha. I have no choice now in the decision.
But, I am going to go make my bracket here in a minute.

I am going to say you guys put a rubber mat on the bracket, put the HE on that, then made a straight bar across the top and bolted it down on each side to the HE to hold it in place correct?
