Well that gives me a good idea on where to start. I know my battery wont be in the front but the rest will help a lot. Thanks Steve.

Yeah, it is definitely nose heavy with a full tank of gas idling around. A little throttle though, and its all good.

Jeff I will take some pictures tonight but what I did was rivit the electronics to the front wall up in the nose. Doing this there is no need to modify the front bucket. Then I mounted the battery in the back of the ski the only cable that needed to be replaced was the neg. off the battery.

Scott, pics of your install would be much appreciated. I am just trying to see the different ways that it has been done so I can get some ideas.

On the spitfire, we mounted it up front. But to keep from having to bend the bucket, we sliced the "foot" and bent it so that the back of the housing sits flush with the wall.

We mounted the voltage regulator back behind the trim cable assembly where the cutout is in the inner hull.

The battery is in the left side trim tab area, where the waterbox used to sit. I'm working on some brackets for that now.
