Aluminium replacement found for Fiberglass midwall seal section.

I can't believe I didn't notice this sooner, but look at how the drive shaft/tunnel seal is done on my Yamaha boat. So now we have an aluminum alternative to cutting the fiberglass center out of the mid wall. Unfortunately its near $100, but if you need one, its an alternative.

I'm guessing not... otherwise it would have been picked up and run with.

i can see 1 reason why it may not work, but easy top overcome. they are designed to press fit into an aluminum pump housing. Because of that, the OD may not match up with the gpr through hull hose.

im gonna try one on my xlt 4 stroke conversion. even though i din't need to since its a mr1 conversion and the fx mid bearing bolts to the midwall. i want to get rid of the midwall completely. might make a short bolt in midwall and use this bearing carrier holder bolted to a short bolt in midwall. I think it will work since the ar series jet boats have 4 strokes in them a fiberglass midwall with the mid bearing bolted to this housing and a hose on the backside.
