Aquatrax F12, F1 warning code 25, Miami

Hi!
I bought a Aquatrax F12 non turbo model 2006 approximately 2 years ago. I have around 120 hours. Everything was working perfectly until 2 weeks ago where I got the F1 warning blinking, I pulled the code and it was a problem with the knock sensor (25). So I decided to change it, then it was working fine for 2 hours until again the F1 warning and giving me the same code. Now the mechanician is telling me that I have to change the computer for a cost of a 1000$. The jet ski is perfectly maintain.
What do you think ? is it normal ? should I do something else ?

check your spark plugs to make sure they alll firing good. Clean them and burn them off good or replace and see if that fixes it. I'd clean them really good the are rite pricey to replace. It could be a bad coil also. i had a bad plug that caused mine to give the F1 25 code for knock sensor. Honda dealer charged me $300 to change the knock sensor then it wasn't the problem. They don't work on mine anymore.

Thank you for your answer. My spark plugs were changed 20 hours of used before it happened. Do you think it could happen so fast after they have been changed ?

Im having the same problem with my ski changed the knocksensor an still the same I was told the same thing that it was my ecu an been told by a couple of people that 90% of the time when the code 25 shows up is the ecu.

yes - where can we buy an ecu for those aquatrax - here in Romania we need 3 units for turo after '05

I just got the same problem with my 2006 f-12x and have an ecu on the way after replacing knock sensor and spark plugs as well as doing oil and filter.
