Thanks again for all your help Rick and everyone else! Haven’t tested her yet I’ll try to do it tomorrow or on Tuesday. We’ll winter is just around the corner here in SA so I’ll try to use most of the fuel. If I manage to use most of it what about the fuel that is left in the fuel system?

Hi Rick I’m on my why to the dam now. Greenhulk should get a phone app. Hopefully there is good 3G coverage there so that I can go online and let you know how she runs.

                  Hi guys
I tested the ski this weekend and there is a big improvement. I am getting cavitation on the hole shot and hitting 6000 rpm every time but unfortunately after about 20 seconds of WOT she starts to lose rpm and speed but only every now and then. Switch her off for about a minute and she will hit 6000 rpm again. Rpm goes down to about 5200 sometimes down to 4000 rpm. I’m thinking maybe a faulty fuel pump or some other blockage in the fuel system.

Yes Rick I can get a new one but I have 2 brand new bmw x5 fuel pumps that we can use for testing purposes. Really you think heat soak can have that much effect after 20 seconds. I personally doubt that. I will flush the fuel system and hook up the X5 pump and see what happens.

Maybe check intercooler and see if its water passages are plugged up......try seeing if it will over boost now

Yes Rick the sock is as clean as the day it came from the factory. I did pull the pipe from the waste gate actuator and got an over boost error after 5 seconds of WOT. I'll pull the fuel pump again and make sure that there is no more dirt in the tank or on the sock.

Tested the bitch today and still she has the same problem guys. Hooked up the X5 fuel pump and still after a few times of opening and closing the throttle she won’t rev past 4k rpm. Switch her of for 30 seconds to a minute and she is fine again. The only other thing I can think of is the fuel pressure regulator. Here is some pictures of the plugs.Click image for larger version
