SWEET LORD what is wrong with this honda?????? dont worry bro your just that much closer to finding out what it is. At this point id say take your intake piping off as well as the intake manifold and look for something physical obstructing airflow or maybe even stuck in your manifold. I had a shop instal my IC and they forgot to remove one of the seals and it got sucked into my manifold and caught on a runner. I couldnt rev past 6k. I hope thats not it but at this point its better safe than sorry.

Thanks Boost. I just checked the waste gate again now it opens and closes without any problems. Removed the fuel pressure regulator, by the looks of it, it seems to be fine. I’ll have to start and eliminate 1 thing at a time so I might as well start with the IC and intake manifold. It is basically winter in S.A now so I’ll have a lot of time to work on the ski. What do you guys think of the plugs do they look lean? Another thing is when it wouldn’t go past 4k rpm and I remove the pipe from the waste gate I don’t get an over boost warning. I must say when she is running fine and I remove the pipe from the waste gate the acceleration is amazing for 5 seconds till you get the over boost warning!!!!!!

Problem solved!!! After 2 years of troubleshooting, 4 engine pulls, multiple broken things and parts swapping. Drum roll. It’s the exact thing Brian from JI said The turbo exhaust housing. The shaft penetrated the housing through a bushing. The issue is that when the system gets hot the bushing swells causing the shaft to stick in the open position momentarily causing a turbo lag. Get yourself a reman housing from Brian and you’ll have your power back like new.
