How to unlock Honda Aqua Trax forgotten security Code

    How to unlock Honda Aqua Trax forgotten security Code

    Here is the procedure to unlock the code. It must be followed exactly or it will not unlock.

    Remove the front storage box. Remove the zip ties holding the wiring on the underside of the dash. Disconnect the 8 pin grey connector.
    With the MODE and SET buttons pushed in connect the safety lanyard to the stop switch and continue to hold the MODE and SET buttons for at least 5 seconds. The ID No and the first digit of the code will flash and the warning buzzer will beep.
    Push the ID No button until the 9 appears. Push the ID SET button.The second number of the code starts blinking.
    Push the ID No button until the 9 appears. Push the ID SET button. The third number of the code appears and starts blinking.
    Press the ID No button until the 9 appears. Press the ID SET button. The meter display will shut off.
    Remove the safety lanyard from the switch. Reconnect the 8 pin grey meter wire connector. Reinstall the safety lanyard in the switch. The code is now unlocked.

    The procedure is the same for both models.

    Started with     a 2006 SeaDoo RXP 215IC.

    Current Mods: Garrett GT3076R Ball Bearing Turbo, Precision 38mm WG, Riva Gen 3 IC, Skat-Trak 15.5/22.5, Speed-freak Bellow Band, ID1000's injectors, V-tech Data Logger, V-tech Maptunner, RRFPR, CMD with Auto Tune and a few more to much to list.

    So far 30+ hours of trouble free ass whipping turbo fun.

        The part in bold print doesn't happen. What's wrong?

          Hi just reading this post and I locked mine by mistake and need to get it reset is it the same procedure for the f15x aswell?

            How to unlock Honda Aqua Trax forgotten security Code

            I am locked out of my mine and have tried the reset procedure and I can't get it to reset. After putting in all three 9's it goes back to all zeros. Also my fuel bar and gas pump icon flash the whole time. Any ideas...please?

                You have to pull the storage bin out, then up top near the steering is a wire bunch. There are 2 connectors, unhook the smaller one. Insert lanyard, and use code 999 to unlock. Pay attention to what you are doing, or don't use a security code.

                  will this work on a 2005 f12x? i just bought it and the bars are locked...i was so pissed! pushed off from the pier and went in circles!!! haa!!

                    Bars are locked? Mine just wouldn't start with code locked.

                      Bars locked ended up being seized steering cable! I learned getting one with 40 hours is good, but sitting does more harm than good!

                        I was going to say you have a seperate issue because the steering is old school mechanical cable style steering lol.

                        What is this safety pin for and how do you even set it in the first place?..
