Honda dock dolly

Hi guys just bought a 2004 Honda R12. I am on a canal in the Keys and I built a dolly with caster wheels so I can move it to my davit and lift it up and over into the water. I built the same dolly for my 1999 Polaris 3 seater and it works great. Unfortunately right now I am 1500 miles away from the Honda ski so I built a duplicate of the Polaris one. I will be bringing it with me next week. It is made with welded steel with wooden 2x8s siting on top spaced 29'' wide apart on center by 50'' long. Do you think this will work OK? If not I would rather cut it off now so I can re weld the holders that support the 2x8 planks. Thanks Mike.

The bunks for my 15 and my 12 are at 17". However I seen some further apart also.

If they are too wide, just nail a board flat on top of the 2X8s to decrease the space between them.

Put them at 17 inches and I can guarantee you they won't be on a chine
