I'm pretty sure it was clipped in because it was a bitch to take out my weak fingers couldnt push the clip hard enough to get it out so had to use pliers.
I'm pretty sure fuel pressure is ok cause you are right I did check injectors and fuel pressure before plus I have a new walbro pump installed but from what i understand the pump canister comes with a pressure valve do you think that could go bad?? could it be bypassed?

Yes the regulator in the tank can go bad and does. If you want to run an external regulator it is pretty simple to do, remove the stock one from the tank and buy an adjustable efi regulator, I'm using a fuelab regulator you will also need a gauge, summit racing had a good liquid filled stainless gauge for a few dollars. Cut the return line and place the regulator in the cut and set the pressure to stock or slightly over.

Will look into that, so far with plugs its take about 3-4 tries in cranking before she starts up but once she does she starts everytime.
I havent been able to try her out in the water as the trailer tongue bent due to rust. I just purchased a new one and will install it friday night and try the bike out on saturday morning.
I will also look into getting the fuel pressure regulator, I know I asked you about it before but seems like i have to stop being cheap and just go but it.
        Will keep you posted

So i have a compression problem. Pistons, piston rings or cylinder head valves, wow what a job I have ahead of me.
did u have the throttle full open

you need to do a leakdown BEFORE you pull it apart to know if you are chasing a bottom or top end problem

I see circles on the horizon

          Waz
Waz, i can't believe what im reading,,,,,pulling engine apart without confirming what was causing the problem.

Also i just found out the once the pistons are freed from the cylinders that the rings should be free meaning able to spin move by hand and all mine are seized.
So based on that I'd have to assume that the previous owner either never properly seviced the ski or just a run of bad luck.
I have all the parts so I'm just going to replace all the rings and clean her out as I found some grey sludge in oil pan.
Also thinking of honing the exhaust manifold while its out.
I don't believe a word your saying. Man this has to be some sort of joke or your worst mechanic on this planet

So ski is running finally, starts up perfectly.
After a series of issues that went from broken thrust washer to finally bad injectors.
Now after 10-15 min of riding the temp light comes on.
I've rechecked my hoses all connected with factory set up and its all routed correctly.
I'm assuming the exhaust manifold gasket is clogged or blocked as i only get water coming out of the exit hose from under the intake manifold by putting water throught the hose under the exhaust manifold on the engine block.
A friend helped me assemble the engine and said to apply some silicone to the exhaust gasket so Im assuming it might of clogged the water port holes in the gasket.
Havent pulled it apaer yet as she is hot as hell right now.
Do i really need silicone on the exhaust gasket?

No silicone on the exhaust needed.
