Just about 200 hours in 'fresh' water. Our lake water, even though 600 miles inland from the coast, is relatively salty (or corrosive). I plan to have a water analysis done on it, but haven't done so yet.

I normally don't flush after riding, only at the end of the season when winterizing. Guess that will have to change. I think flushing with rain water will certainly help.

Well, I appreciate your input! I've been boating in this 'freshwater' lake for 30 years and it has only been a problem for the last few years. How do you propose to prevent corrosion between the pump case and liner???

My previous skis (900ZXIs) were only ridden in freshwater river and had zero problem with corrosion. My current skis (300 Ultra LXs) have only been ridden in salt water and trust me, I flush the hell out of them (engine and IC) after every ride. You still get corrosion because you simply cannot ever get every drop of salt water out of the ski. Plus being on the water (house on canal) the air is salty/corrosive. That's why everything on my back porch that's not stainless wants to rust.
