Still working on the battery light issue, the battery ground and the engine ground are corrosion free and gudentiecht..... Feel free to PM me for the rest of the joke
So I probably have bad news, No.1 is at 140 psi, No. 2 at 130 psi, and No.3 at 120 psi. Kenny said all 3 were at 145 psi when he built it (16 engine hours ago....)
I would like to get everyone's opinion on whether or not pump 93 octane is sufficient for 145 psi...
Can you point me in the right direction to make this right? Do I have to take it off and grind the mounting tab to the grate to make it flush? And I just used 3m 4200 on the eye glass seal area. (Black area) Stock grate for pictured for reference.
Yes, if your fitment isn't to your liking (i.e. it is hanging down a bit) then you have to gradually take small amounts off those mounting bosses to allow the plate to suck up a bit "higher" in the hull. I remember my Shredmaster specifically coming with instructions that said you might have to do this due to hull-to-hull manufacturing variances. It is also recommended to re-check the fit after each incremental material removal b/c it is easy to get it all caty-whompus and end up in a situation where only some of your bosses are touching the hull mounts. Honestly, mine was a real time consuming PITA to get right. You don't want it to have a bunch of assembly stress from uneven mounting induced warpage. I hope that makes sense.
