    It is so you can remove your BOV. The one on the back of the intercooler. Many have done it since the 250 days.

      This is use to block the blow off valve located on the intercooler.

          Makes sure you do not loose boost through the BOV if it is not holding proper pressure.

            Many using it on the 300 ??

              On earlier model 250/260 some of the bov was leaking and was reducing the boost. On the 300 the bov can be mod instead of bocking it whit the plate

                  I adjusted mine - as recommended by the guys here - rather than removing it.

                          Also heard one mailman in Sydney somewhere is using one on his polaris.
                          2012 ULTRA 300X GREEN....
                          Spare wheel on trailer (powdercoated), Solas stickers (both sides), Mean looking green monster face (on the back), Bilge pump, Camera mount and Jettrim seatcover 147.3MPH
                          Ohhh and by the way...mine leans to the right

                              That's not accurate. I'm assuming you are talking about Max RPM. That's just the Max RPM when it hit 67. Mine is always slightly different. It's actually useless to be honest (if you have a SCOM)
