  • Kawasaki Ultra 250/260 Stage 2 Tuning Specify Rev Limiter (HELP)!!!!

Can some one please help me. summer is right around the corner and i want to go faster! Ive bin looking for mods and found the basics for my 260 lx such as exhaust, water box, intake, and the riva bypass upgrade kit for the stock BOV, which i would like some opinions about that wether i should get an hks or not, but anyways the last m od on my list is the stage 2 tuning specify rev limiter by V-tech which i also would like some opinions on that ecu, Notice my im within 1000$ price range for ecu!! THANKS!!!

The blow off valve is a waist of money get the 5$ block off plate if you want. Never have herd any results from anyone on the vtech but doubt threes gonna be a huge difference with a tune.

Personally you will be very upset spending your $1000 on those items.
Do a little more research in the tech section and read all of Skip's threads before you start doing any mods to a 250/260

Sorry I'm new to this forum, is there any way you can redirect me to "skip's threads" ... I don't really want to go all out on my ski, I basically wanted basic mods to improve speed, I was hoping with a tune I can get the most boost from my stock supercharge and maybe give more fuel, just enough so I can get maybe a little over 80mph. What's the best you can recommend me?

Go to the last page and work your way forward in this section

To answer your above question about the BOV, Yes just remove it and block off the port. You can but the plate in the online store

Be sure to enter the cupon code Greenhulk for 10% off

Thanks for our help, one more quick question, why remove the BOV. Isn't it bad for the supercharger with the back pressure after the throttle closes ?

Completely different than the centrifical siperchargers. They have been blocking these off since 2007

I mean no disrespect when i say this, but if you are looking to go that fast you might as well buy a seadoo or a yamaha. someone correct me if i am wrong but i dont think anyone has gone anything more than mid to low 70's on the stock 250/260 blower

                      FWIW i own a 07 250
