interesting statement but not 100% correct, the more rpms the more heat the more wear, pretty much a proven fact. the prop is a cheap mod for anyone wanting to gain more reliable safe speed plus opens the gate for more speed with other mods.

    just so you know

    it IS worth the gains
it is worth lowering your RPMS down closer to stock RPMS after you have installed a scom and air mods that WILL increase your rpm and stress your engine.

I was just wondering why you were giving a opinion that does not add up.

I have used 14/21 or slight variances of this prop on all my
    2011,2 x 2012 , 2013. , 2014 ,2015
    300's & 310's

like I said, it's not worth it to ME.

If the stock prop needs replacement, I would probably get aftermarket. But not until that point.

PS- 8000 rpms is NOTHING for this motor.

By by the way my skies ran 8250 most days even with the Solas ( solas lowers by approx 300 rpm )

If if people don't do CORRECT supporting mods , then that's there loose.
People just assume bolting s prop is all you need to do to see good results.

less than $1000 get 74+ mph all day
so to me it's a good thing.

you are only talking 100-200 RPMS drop with a 14/21, not really a huge difference as far as "engine stress" ....unless you are racing and holding WOT for long long periods ....

Exactly mate mine turns 8200rpm for over 30min a time at wot. And yes temps are up there. And yes it needed a freshen up after a few races.

I just purchased one and I'm checking it and installing this week so I'll let you know what I think. I been doing mods one at a time and putting a couple hours on the ski to see what does what. Probably going to remove things one at a time to see where the improvements truly are. I've read a lot on here and not saying I don't trust these guys but i have found a couple things to be different for me than others. I think this may have to do with different climates, skis, water conditions etc...

Yea as I am finding out. But it is fun doing the experimenting myself anyway.

Well there's some really cool additions to the ski with this impeller. It seems the takeoff is about the same with a little less cavitation and top speed is about the same but the mid range acceleration feels better. Overall good impeller but I don't think it's worth changing before the stock one needs replacing.
