I've searched through the forums here, but haven't found anything that could help with my issue.
long story short my buddy crashed into the front of my 650sx and almost sunk it. I later found that the e-box filled with water and fried the solenoid. I replaced it and the ski fired right up. I left the e-box open in the dry hull through the winter and when I returned to it a month ago it no longer started up, didn't even make a sound. I had to replace the solenoid again because I snapped a terminal on the other one, but still nothing.
The battery side post on the solenoid reads 12.40v, but the starter side reads 0. I checked continuity of the wire to the starter and it seems good, reads less than 1. The only thing I can think of is the other unit, I don't know the name of, next to the solenoid is also bad from the flooded e-box back in august.
Not sure where to be searching for the fix.
