2005 STX 12F Display

I have a 2005 STX 12f with a bad display. It is not sun-bleached - it has internal electronic issues (it was beeping wildlly and flashing last time used). It was not the ski - I swapped it out and ski was fine. Sadly, I am cheap and have a hard time paying $ 850 for a used one..

Is there anybody out there that can actually repair one of these things? Seems a bit crazy to pay the prices asked just for the display...

Now that you mention it, I believe somebody here got a display repaired a couple of years ago. Do a search and you might find it. I'll do likewise as I just bought a pair of STX-15Fs that need displays.

There was a user named JAV who did some work on one. I do not see him being active now... sad..
