Hi guys, I have a big problem with the AFR sensor, to make 2 logs I had to use 2 new sensors, why do they break so fast? I can't even complete the log. Do you have any secrets to lengthen the life of the sensors? Thank you

Preheat the sensor, before starting ski.

The only thing I do differently, is I don't remove the 02 after logging. It then gets plugged back into dashpac, maybe you just got 2 duds. Have you tried sourcing a O2 from another supplier/retailer?

You don't want a hot sensor before you start the engine. Doing this will dump moisture onto the, now hot, ceramic element inside the senor damaging it. Ideally you would start the engine, which will clear our any moisture, and then quickly turn on the heater.

Resolution problem, I have a water leak where we made the thread, shit I ruined 200€ of sensors. Has anyone used thick Riva exhaust with hole for O2? Thanks everyone for the replies.

Yes, the Riva exhaust race plate spacer will solve this issue, and you can optionally use it for EGT's as well.

You can also use a 02 sheet sink. It helps keep water off the sensor
