Bone stock Yamaha GP1800 goes 79+ mph with only MaptunerX tune

I figured this accomplishment deserved it's own post

I just got back from riding my new GP1800 with MaptunerX reflash and it ran 79.2 mph at 8300 RPM

YES! still bone stock, impeller not tweaked, ride plate not tweaked. Fresh out the Yamaha crate and only a MaptunerX tune. I'm amazed! Can't wait to see what this thing will do once i start adding mods tomorrow

Wow....So the stock tune on the MaptunerX with the rev limiter set to 8100 will be riding the limiter all the time. To bad they didn't offer that tune with an 8300 limit so I could take advantage of the full power of the machine.

Can't wait to see what this thing does with a few mods....

you can have the rev limiter set to whatever you want with the MaptunerX tunes. Just request the rev limiter you want and the tune will be made available to you.
