I've raced plenty of GP1800s and stock vs stock the races were always close.  It all comes down to weight of the rider in my opinion. And how much fuel is in each ski as well.

To sum it up, both skis are very close in peformance that weight is the deciding factor on who wins.

Damn near identical I’m telling you. 20lb difference isn’t enough For the engine to notice. In fact if I’m on my GP and my friend who 70lbs lighter is on the FZ, the FZ is quicker. He’s even quicker on the FX when I’m on the FZ or GP.

P.S. can we all stop calling the VXR SVHO “GP1800”? It’s so lame.
What the hell am I talking about??? The results of both my ski builds are VERY well documented. My GP has proven to be 2 mph faster than my FZ mod for mod, and this is the same thing proven by others over and over again comparing their FZ speeds to their GP speeds. The acceleration is not even close! The GP kills the FZ! (mod for mod)
If your GP is not pulling away from your FZ then I'd say you got some figuring out to do as something clearly is not right.

Not sure how the "F" I accomplished this? I accomplished this with a bone stock GP1800, with only .3 tenths of an hour on it using the MaptunerX AquaX 8800 RPM stock class tune running in cooler 79 degree air, at sea level, and I'm 250 lbs of solid beef!

As as I stated in my first response to you, something clearly is NOT right with your GP if you only got 75 mph with just a tune and your GP doesn't pull away from your FZ.

      Have a nice day!

On this P1 aquaX - rev limit is 8800 - for stock class - that means you can go close to this rpm without engine mods?

Stock class requires no engine mods (retainers) but racers risk it to get the additional performance of the higher limiter. Many have floated valves and destroyed engines. If you are a rec rider using this tune then I highly recommend installing the Riva retainers
