  • Problem when connecting maptuner to PC

I've installed mymaptuner and when I try to connect to maptuner all I get is this error

Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the mymaptuner and drivers many times and no help. All they can say at maptuner is try another computer. I can and I will do that, but I dont care if it works in all the other computers in the world. I wanna know why it doesn't work and I want to get it working with my computer.

truy removing the USB port via device manager and let it reinstall itself. if its an intel chipset usb, you might need an update

outside of that follow above advice

Look at the installation directory and check if that, MaptunerUsbLib.dll, is there C:\Program Files (x86)\Maptun\MyMaptuner

Here is how my installation dir looks

for others facing the same issues, reinstalling windows is often not needed, removing the USB ports will force a reinstall of the USB supporting drivers ( as does reinstalling windows) and allows you to retain installations of other supporting software you use.

thanks for the follow up on your success NAL-E this is why the GH forum a powerful resource in our community
