SEALVER RIB 626 ordered

"ordered"?
You saying your ordered one? If so, from where? I didn't know they were being sold in the US yet (less Puerto Rico).
If you haven't ordered one, where do you plan on purchasing it?Now: 2012 SeaDoo GTI 155 Limited
Then: 2011 SeaDoo GTI SE 130, 2008 SeaDoo GTI SE 130 , 1994 Kawasaki SS Xi, 1989 Kawasaki ZX10, 1986 Yamaha Radian -
Yes, ordered, I wired a boat-load of euros over to France, and I am having it shipped via cargo container through a customs broker to Michigan.
There is substantial cost involved in the shipping, and customs fees, and also the currency exchange rate from dollars to euros raises the cost by at least 25%.
I ordered white/black bicolored Hypalon tubes, a wakeboard tower and a few other things
All said and done, I could have purchased two brand new RXT-X 300 SeaDoo's for the price.
I have both a 2017 RXT-X300 and a 2015 RXT-X260 that will be able to push the SealverLast edited by Takostubos; 03-21-2018, 07:15 AM.2017Rxt-x300, 2017Spark90, 2015Rxt-x260, 2011Wake155; dual impellers, DefyJetDeck, JetbladeComment

From what I can find on the interwebs, they sell those in Canada...
Sounds like the deal is done, but you may have been able to take a drive to Quebec and picked one up instead of going through the process/hassle of euros, wiring money, shipping, etc.
And, supposedly, they're going to be available in the US this year.
We recently “re-introduced” you to the Sealver Waveboat after its initial release three years ago. As a PWC-powered boat manufacturer Sealver has made a lot of new additions to its lineup. In case you haven’t gotten our drift with the recent focus on these nifty little vessels, we have been highly anticipating their distribution here […]
As for anyone in the US with experience...TAG; you're it.
Looking forward to your review/s on this. Now: 2012 SeaDoo GTI 155 Limited

Thanks, I wasn't aware of that review, or the Canadian dealer, I appreciate the links
One of the questions that goes through my mind is, whether I need a different boat registration, or is this thing just a big floating inner tube, My plan is to put the same hull stickers on the outside of this thing that are on my Sea-Doo, given that it is just an accessory, however, my boat is a rigid inflatable, and I doubt that even stickers would hold...
Also, I am not sure what the front sun deck area is really like, is there room for a gas can, a battery, etc, on the RIB
I have to figure a way to connect my hose to the front for using the Jetblade...2017Rxt-x300, 2017Spark90, 2015Rxt-x260, 2011Wake155; dual impellers, DefyJetDeck, JetbladeComment

In my state, any vessel with a motor requires a registration. Not sure how Florida would consider this vessel. By connecting a PWC, does that make the vessel motorized?
These types of vessels aren't new. There used to be a similar product sold in the US years ago called Shuttlecraft.
A few threads out there on it...
Has anyone ever had any experience with one of these shuttle craft? Either first hand or someone you know. I just find it hard to believe that a PWC engine and pump designed to push a 600# boat and 2 or 3 people would also be able to push that much additional weight plus however many people...
One person states, "in PA, it has to be registered as a separate vehicle, and the tag shops don't know what do do with it since it's power source is a second vehicle. "

When the PWC is inserted, and latched/locked into position, this thing is similar to adding outrigger pontoons or inflatable floatation side ribs on a boat.
I suggest the PWC bow numbers be replicated on the RIB exterior, not because the rib hull is itself a powered 'boat' but because the PWC hull numbers are 'obscured' by the rib, similar to moving your car licence plate up higher when the trailer hitch is in the way.
A powered 'boat' is rated by the manufacturer for how big an engine (outboard) the hull can handle. This thing would not have such a rating, since a engine cannot be attached. No engine rating, no unique hull numbers required, I suspect.
I assume it does have a passenger/weight rating, number of people allowed. This would apply when the PWC is not attached. Adding the PWC does not change this number, correct?
What you have is an inflatable, wrap around version of this sort of thing.
Or a bigger version of this
Looking around online, seems to be a lot of variations on this theme

Thanks so much for the advice, i appreciate all input, I do think that I am going to go with the replication of the PWC hull number on the outside of this boat. (except that I am not sure how well, the hull stickers will stick..., but I am going to go forward with that)
Although, I have several different Sea Doo's, however, i plan on using my Seadoo RXTX300, however, I do have a RXTX260, so that might be an issue..., either way, I figure that the lack of established regulation in my state of Michigan will work for me by pleading ignorance.2017Rxt-x300, 2017Spark90, 2015Rxt-x260, 2011Wake155; dual impellers, DefyJetDeck, JetbladeComment

The manufacturer may be able to provide some suggestions in this regard.
I have seen other RIB with (high strength) adhesive backed wide Velco attached to the RIB surface, then the matching Velco material is used to hold the sign/permit/board/whatever in place.
Semi flexible plastic might work well as a substrate for the hull numbers.Comment
