Hi there, new to posting here. I have a SLT 750 that will bog down with full throttle from a dead stop. If I ease it into a plane then it goes at full throttle. From reading on here it sounds like a fuel issues. Just wonder where to start? I'm guessing I should just pull the carbs. While I'm posting my fuel sender isn't reading on the screen. Is it a float in the tank? Are they problematic?

Start with adding some Sea Foam to your gas for a tank or two which will clean out the carbs. If that doesn't improve fix it, then probably the carbs need to be rebuilt. If fuel isn't reading on the screen, then most likely the fuel float in the fuel sender has become gas logged and needs to be replaced. Having low fuel sensor could also be your running problem as it will send the ski into limp mode. -
Rebuild your carbs and update to the triple outlet fuel pump before you hole a piston! You've been warned.
Sometimes the fuel FLOAT turns into a SINKER.Comment

Okay I have ordered a complete rebuild kit with needles and seats. Is there a post on here for how to switch out to a 3 port pump? If I do this can I still use the reserve fuel function? Also can I fix my flat by resealing it or do I have to buy a new one? ( Parts in Canada are very expensive and hard to find.)Comment

Looks like the standard pump to me. The triple outlet I've been using is the DF52. Aftermarket versions seem to work just fine as well. The float becomes logged with fuel and must be replaced.Comment

I don't have a pic handy but maybe somebody else has one handy.
The lower fittings are ALL for supply.
Uppers are ALL return tied together and running back to the tank.
Lowers will all get taken off and each get it's own supply from the new fuel pump.
This leaves you with 2 open fittings facing the bow. You can cap them off, or loop them together with another piece of fuel line.

I bit the bullet and bought on eBay.
now my carbs are rebuilt and all the fuel system is done. I tried tuning my carbs in the water this past weekend without luck. I adjusted my low and high idle to the factory recommended settings. I had no lunch setting them. Do I start with the idle screw on the throttle cable or do I adjusted the idle with the low speed screw? Do all three carbs get adjusted the same or do I pull plugs when I'm close and see how they look? Also stock says half turn out but iv seem some people recommend 1 1/2 turns. Any help would be appreciated or if there are some good links that could be shared. I don't know if it's just me but I have a really hard time searching on browsing this page.Comment

My notes say all 3 low speeds at 1/2......I usually set them at 5/8. High speeds are mag 1, cen 1/2, pto 3/4. Again, I usually go 1/8-1/4 turn past that as a starting point. The idle speed screw is only for adjusting the warmed up idle speed.Comment
