Well Bernie found this cool "thing" called SKYPE and we have some ideas as to how we can use this in the forum. The system, which is completely free, allows us to talk around the world with anybody that has a computer and a headset. We can also conference up to 5 at a time, so when somebody is looking for opinions or a small group just wants to BS about a certain topic, here's the answer.

Run down, get a headset, sign up for SKYPE (also free) and let's see if we can take this forum help to another level.

Here's the scoop. Let's say you are sitting at your computer talking on the phone to somebody "blah, blah, blah" and you are racking up phone minutes....

Incredibly, the sound quality is FREAKING PHENOMINAL! No itchy-scratchy cell phone.


The only drawback is that if you want to call regular numbers, it cost money. BUT that doesn't matter if you get your friends to all sign up... PLUS it has a 5 way conference call.

I'm using my "SoCom" headset (Logitech) from the playstation 2. Works like a charm.

We just found a "chink" in the armor....

Art tried it with his dial up... We sounded like "Mr Roboto" to each other. He called my cell, and it was pretty funny.

Go to skype and you can add the little indicator to tell when you are online or offline.
