I have a 93 SL 650 with the triple carbs. They look pretty clean, but since I took out the carb assembly I might as well clean the carbs and rebuild them. I would like to know how you take out the cap on the high-speed mixture needle in order to take the needle out?

Yes, for the most part. The 785 will have fuel pumps on the MAG and PTO carbs. Make sure you take a picture of the fuel line routing on the carb rack or else you will have issues if they aren't hooked up correctly. You will also have a small silver jet screwed into the fuel return line nipple. Do not lose that!

I know this is old, but for future readers, the high speed cap is simply pulled off with a pair of needle nose pliers.
