Voltage regulator

Hey guys. Got a 2004 virage 700 carb red motor. That stopped charging and left us stranded luckily enough at the dock! Pretty happy about that.
charged the battery over night and now idling it charges in the 10's.
my Polaris electrical knowledge is limited. But I think it's safe to say it's the regulator or the stater.

i would like to throw a regulator at it anyways since it's an old machine and was in storage for 10 years. Couldn't hurt right?

the question is, does anyone have a link to a known good brand ? I'm scared of getting some Chinese garbage and it failing.

Testing stator is pretty simple. Make sure you have full battery power on yellow, with everything connected,
Measure resistance with wires running to stator disconnected. red/purple stripe to yellow. Should be like 0.75 ohms.
