I think hydroturf would look the best, and its easy to clean. Line X doesnt have the traction like turf or the non slip strips.

Thinking of buying a sheet of Hydroturf material to add to the top sides of the trailer frame for some traction. Has anyone done this before?

I have applied grit tape to portions of the trailer frame rails, but later on I realized there are lots of interesting choices available.

I recently used one of the rubberized no-skid tapes on a small step platform. It worked out quite well.

One interesting effect is to periodically interleave a strip of the grit tape alongside the rubberized material, perhaps in a contrasting or fluorescent color.

Other than bulk, all these adjustable height ball mounts seem to have plenty of slop and wobble as a given. I have certainly not used or even seen every variation, but none seem to have the solid no-rattle capability of the QuietRide product.

Perhaps there is an unfilled product niche there?

to be honest I think you will find if you put in over a hard surface (like the trailer) It will not provide as much traction as it does with foam behind it. Just a thought but I have no experience with it

I like the hydroturf idea. That would look best and should be just as functional as it is on the ski. 90% of the time I have water shoes or neoprene boots on so when I'm tight walking on the edge of the trailer I'm pretty good.
