Satisfy my curiosity,
1-what do you think would be a fair price for the ignition kit?
2-Have you ever had to have the stator or ignition box replaced on an outboard motor?-Pete

600 bucks is roughly what the individual components would have cost separately from Polaris. I think Polaris discounted the kits because so many needed to be replaced. 600 bucks is still a lot cheaper than buying another ski. Especially if its one you like.2023 FX Limited SVHO.

I have a brand new three cylinder '447 CDI update kit on hand here. You can use it for testing but I don't want to sell it, my last kit on hand. Genuine Polaris kit, not SBT.
PM me if you want to connect in person.Comment

was reading the last few pages on members the interest in having some cdi stator kits made , i trip on a website that caught my attention , maybe some of you have heard of Ricks motosport electronics ? im shure that its old news for most, here is the link to his website . i called and spoke to the customer service gal , and mention i need polaris pwc cdi repaired or to buy new she asked me for a picture of the part and some year make model info , and also stated that they were going to maybe look into making some stuff for the polaris pwc line . shoot me if its a dead end lol , maybe worth a call
Aftermarket Motorsport Electrics parts for motorcycles, dirtbikes, atvs, motosport vehicles manufactured and distributed by Rick's Motorsport Electrics
ok so these guys do rewind stators and also build the cdi box's maybe they will be willing to satisfy the needs of the GH group , has anyone heard of or done any dealings with ricksmotorsportselectrics.com ?Last edited by Poorlaris; 08-11-2016, 09:13 PM.Comment

Well - best is to use yamaha cdi/e-box/ modded 62t flywheel on any 2 cyl polaris like virage, octane ... We tested one on virage and is working perfect - even the flywheel is smaller and lighter then the original one - so more faster revsComment

I can make your two cylinders polaris work with yamaha 62t ignition anytime - even i can make it as kitComment

What stator? What modifications?
Which Yamaha parts?
Photos? Diagrams?Comment
