I have a 1999 1050 SLX with no spark. Where would be the best place to purchase the upgade version for the ignition system? Thanks

And now i will think how to adapt the 3 cylinders yamaha ignition on 3 cylinders polaris - with flywheel mods is easy - same as for 2 cylinders - only difference is that on yamaha the stator is on flywheel cover not on crankcases - but for sure will find a way to fix it. Can not post pics with my flywheel - is my ideea - but i'm sure a good mechanic can do the same.

and from now on i can fit even yamaha MSD enhancer to those red engines - i can transform flywheels for 200 usd and need your original flywheel and yam flywheel - rest - you have to buy a complete yamaha 62t or 61x ignition system - from an old 2cyl yamaha - even a 650 single carb - ignition will work

I transform a 62t yamaha flywheel to fit on the polaris crankshaft, in this process can arrange the advance timing i want, then use a yamaha 62t stator (instead of original from polaris) and fix it on crankcases(inside flywheel) -then connect it with yamaha e-box an finish

biggest problem is to modd the 62t flywheel to work with polaris engine/crank

We tested one on virage and is working perfect - even the flywheel is smaller and lighter then the original one - so more faster revs
    Details please!

    What stator? What modifications?
    Which Yamaha parts?

    Photos? Diagrams?

was reading the last few pages on members the interest in having some cdi stator kits made , i trip on a website that caught my attention , maybe some of you have heard of Ricks motosport electronics ? im shure that its old news for most, here is the link to his website . i called and spoke to the customer service gal , and mention i need polaris pwc cdi repaired or to buy new she asked me for a picture of the part and some year make model info , and also stated that they were going to maybe look into making some stuff for the polaris pwc line . shoot me if its a dead end lol , maybe worth a call
Aftermarket Motorsport Electrics parts for motorcycles, dirtbikes, atvs, motosport vehicles manufactured and distributed by Rick's Motorsport Electrics

ok so these guys do rewind stators and also build the cdi box's maybe they will be willing to satisfy the needs of the GH group , has anyone heard of or done any dealings with ricksmotorsportselectrics.com ?

    Which machine is this for?

I have a brand new three cylinder '447 CDI update kit on hand here. You can use it for testing but I don't want to sell it, my last kit on hand. Genuine Polaris kit, not SBT.

PM me if you want to connect in person.
