    NICE!!!!!

I hope this works out well for you. We need more service providers for Polaris.

By chance, do you have any spare EMM's on hand? Or strictly repair customer's own? Thanks
My ski says made in the U.S.A...... Can yours say that???

So you charge the same price as Harris, but don't even offer the ability to update the firmware in the EMM?
AND you take the collective information that others here have corroborated on to line your pockets? Less than $100 worth of a repair for $475?

I'd rather go with Harris for the same price, and get updated software, AND a warranty.

Having looked at quite a few EMM's as of late, I can tell you that I look forward to getting some that just need "$100 worth of repair". Many have issues that require deep troubleshooting down to the component level. Lakeside Tech offers the same warranty as Harris (6 months). All 3 cylinder EMM's use the same "firmware", so I don't know what you are referring to. Harris allegedly offers "performance upgrades" (by tweaking the fueling (not the maps), most likely), which to my knowledge has never been vetted as offering any real gains.

If you are focused on the gross price for repairs (which by the way matches the lowest cost provider), consider what the net price is. Lakeside Tech is a formal business endeavor, and as such pays taxes on income (~50% including self employment tax).

I have helped many people with their EMM's, including loaning other parts on my dime in order to diagnose and get their machines back on the water. My customers choose Lakeside Tech for the personalized service I provide.

Just wanted to add to this thread and thank Lakeside Tech for professional service and honest business. I am new to the Polaris community and thanks to this forum and Darrin's repair service, the ski is fired up and sounds strong. Thanks again for the quick turnaround, and all the extra information provided, beyond what was included in EMM repair.

Nice to know...my last pair went to dfi or what's left of them. Over a year to get them back and had to threaten with an attorney. What a joke. I've done business with them for 15 years. Now they don't even answer their phone or respond. One of them was suppose to be a warranty. Never again.

Lakeside Tech repaired both of my EMM's. They work flawlessly! It's nice to have somebody that's honest repairing these.

Was having an issue with my MSX, Darrin contacted me through GreenHulk and offered to check my EMM. Shipped him the EMM only to find out after testing that it was fine, my issue was a faulty throttle position sensor. Darrin shipped my EMM back to me with a clean bill of health. I very much appreciate him taking the time to help me with my machine, its now back on the water running great! Thank you again!! ~ Jeff 2003 Polaris MSX 140

My 2000 stx di just died yesterday and thought it was out of gas. Filled it up and nothing. Tries to start but just doesn't get there. Fuel pump is pumping fuel from the filter. Gauge is sunburned so I can't see anything on it for codes. It was dark so didn't get a chance to check for spark yet. Any way to check that the EMM mite be bad before sending ou to you? Thanks Jason Childress
