1998 SLXH 1050 - No spark, with new CDI and stator

newbie here but would a LR Module cause one not to spark? i've just bought my first Jetski which is a 1998 SLXH 1050cc. guy told me it ran last season. but went to start it up this year and it had no spark. so i ordered a new CDI and Stator for it installed it tonight and still no spark. thanks for any help

Welcome to GreenHulk.
These Polaris ignition system really need a strong battery to start.
They need 10.6v and higher while cranking. Test at the red with purple stripe CDI wire and black CDI wire.

Do you have a link to the CDI and stator you bought ?

just pick up my first jetski. yea i'm a newbie to it. guy told me it started why he was at the shop then went to take it to the lake and it wouldn't fire up, so i bought it knowing it had no spark but had great compression. so i get it home and order a new stator and cdi for it also bought a new battery as well. installed new parts still no spark. would a coil pack cause it to not have spark. thanks for all the help.

Without 10.6v AT the CDI, nothing works. there are several things being checked with this test.

It needs to be tested with a meter to go any further.

Did your ski already have the updated ignition? If so, more than likely the only problem was the CDI. Aftermarket stators are unreliable, and most times don't work when new.

Could you post pictures of what you removed from it?

yes the ski had the updated ignition. new battery installed, bought the new stator off ebay from the Rop Shop. found out its knock off. so now to find a real stator. CDI box is OEM

ok update. sent the knock off stator back. and bought a new oem stator. installed and still no spark.
