  • sl750 swap in s650?

Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to swap a sl750 motor (I do not know the year) in my seadoo Polaris sl650 1992 without changing or modifying the motor mounts?

    Welcome to the Hulk.

Sea Doo is the name of another PWC manufacturer. You are looking for info on just a 1992 Polaris SL 650.

The engine should swap over with little trouble.

HOWEVER, there will be some things that may need to be changed as well. The cooling system for the 1992 is different from other years, the timing curve for the 750 might be different from the 650, the jet pump is smaller than some other years and the impeller will be a bit small for the 750 engine.
My ski says made in the U.S.A...... Can yours say that???

      Welcome.

This link has a lot of useful Polaris PWC info

1992 and 1993 were the first two years of factory production for Polaris PWC.
Those first models have several unique aspects which were changed starting with 1994

The 1992-1993 jet pump is non-modular and sized differently from the modular 1994 onwards jet pumps.
The 1992 engine has cooling water routed through the crankcase. 1994 onwards does not.

If you have an entire PWC hull with that 750 engine then you can swap over all the needed parts to the 1992 hull.

If you just have the 750 engine then it will bolt in but you may find you need some other parts to get it all working together.
