  • Triple Outlet fuel pump line plugs

I have a 92 SL650 I got for free about 6 months ago. Ive rebuilt the carbs and am going to do the triple outlet pump mod also. I know I need to cap off two ports on the back of the carbs. What should I use to cap them off? My pump did not come with caps.

    Thanks

I like to use a little loctite and thread a small machine screw into the brass barb. I then use a cheap rubber vacuum hose cap from the auto parts store to cap it.

I've also seen people use a small piece of fuel hose, bend it over and clamp it.

Whatever you do, make sure it doesn't leak. You don't want fuel leaking inside the ski while under way.

My ski says made in the U.S.A...... Can yours say that???

I just run a little piece of hose from one to the other. Hooking the 2 together and basically dead ending both of them. I've done a dozen or so that way.

So you just connect the two spots on the carbs that are plugged off in the triple outlet fuel diagram?
