I have a 94 SLT 750 (fresh water only) with water in the electrical box with some moderate corrosion. The engine did run prior to dissasembly to replace fuel lines, fuel pump, rebuild carbs, etc. I understand I can get the electrical box restored for about $600.00!, but they cannot verify or replace the CDI which may be too coroded and not work. I'm not sure I want to spend that much money and have a useless restored electrical box. What other options do I have to correct/repair the water in my ebox? Thanks!

Welcome - I can help you get a refurbished ebox for much less than that...... Start your own thread, and post up some photos of what we are dealing with.....

i have a set of 04 polaris freedoms i just purchased one works perfect the other had a destroyed motor. I replaced to motor took about a week for me to figure out how every thing went back in to place but i got it running. . . BUT it vibrates really bad and it seams like the drive shaft is not lined up properly does any one know how to solve these two issues? thanks

Welcome to Green Hulk.

I had a 1050 do that.
Litterally, the black/ with yellow stripe wire from the CDI is grounded to shut off the engine.
You need to check that wire in the electrical box to see if you get a good ground signal.

I am dealing with a real stiff throttle cable on my Polaris SL1050. What do you guys recommend to use to lubricate the cable? Polaris manual recommends "Polaris Cable Lube". Anyone out there have an idea on what the equivalent off the shelf lubricant would work?

I am currently going through newly acquired 95 650 sl and have found the Clymer shop manual helpful with specs./ torques.
