    Hi Guys,

I am dealing with a real stiff throttle cable on my Polaris SL1050. What do you guys recommend to use to lubricate the cable? Polaris manual recommends "Polaris Cable Lube". Anyone out there have an idea on what the equivalent off the shelf lubricant would work?

    Welcome to Green Hulk.

    I had a 1050 do that.
Litterally, the black/ with yellow stripe wire from the CDI is grounded to shut off the engine.
You need to check that wire in the electrical box to see if you get a good ground signal.
    You need to check

Does a document exist that lists all the part numbers for my '97 SLT700? So far I've been using this site: http://parts.polarisind.com/Browse/Browse.asp

Props to beerdart for providing it here: http://www.greenhulk.net/showthread.php?t=25977

I'd love it if there was a .pdf that I could print and take with me into my workshop to use as a quick reference guide for looking up part numbers. Keywords: something I can print.

    Does this exist?

i have a set of 04 polaris freedoms i just purchased one works perfect the other had a destroyed motor. I replaced to motor took about a week for me to figure out how every thing went back in to place but i got it running. . . BUT it vibrates really bad and it seams like the drive shaft is not lined up properly does any one know how to solve these two issues? thanks

Looking for a service manual PDF for a 1996 SL700. Ive downloaded a few and searched for a few hours but everything shows diagrams for other skis. Any help with maybe so exact info on where to find info on my specific bike would be appreciated. thank you!

Welcome - I can help you get a refurbished ebox for much less than that...... Start your own thread, and post up some photos of what we are dealing with.....

I didn't PM anyone about it, and I searched posts by me and it didn't come up.

That's why I reposted, sorry if you already responded.
You have a shaft and impeller you can sell me? lol
Well, I must be losing my mind.

I clearly recall creating a reply in my head, and I thought I actually typed it up and posted it.

Short version. Driveshaft splines are too worn. Whatever it was mated to might also be worn splines.

Check the stator stub shaft for bent. Even slightly bent at the impeller end of the stub shaft is too much.

I cannot tell from photos exactly how bad the impeller damage is.
Any recommendations for shaft and impeller in the GTA?

    Thanks
