fuel sending unit fix (gas gauge)

    its reading that your tank is empty. your fuse is fine. you just need to either fix or replace your fuel baffle.

      This worked on both of my 96 XP's.

      Used SealAll to "glue" the magnet in place... hope it holds

      Both the magnets were at the bottom of the float as described in the first thread

        Also, both of my bottom screens just popped off
        There are 3 little holes on the side that i just pushed in with a pen and the bottom just fell off
        It went back together easier and no need to solder it to hold in place.

        The biggest issue I had was moving the tank towards the front so I could pull the sender.
        I had about 3/4 tank in each and would suggest doing this when the tank is almost empty.
