1996 seadoo XP fuel question

I rebuilt the carbs with mikuni kits and replaced all the fuel lines last year on a ski that has been sitting for 14 years. The fuel system is all new. Ran great last year but before I put it on the water this year I was questioning myself I don't remember putting any restrictor in the return fuel line after the Y fitting. I scoured my manual and can't find one noted. My question; Is there a restrictor required? Or could it be integrated into the carbs already? Or simply not needed. Thanks for and help.
