96 SeaDoo GTI [#67], at idle, out of water, engine revs up and down, [cycles faster then slower], then repeats, about 6-8-ish sec cycle. --- I haven't checked actual rpm, but high about right at 1500ish, low maybe 800ish. --- Carbs rebuild last year with Mikuni kit [I did it] -taken off and rechecked [all ports clear, good pump, good needle valve, consistent 40 popoff both carbs, filters clear - all appears good with carbs.] -- Timing appears to be 15-20d BTDC at idle [no spec on that], and does not appear to change much when reved up to 6k rpm [ manual says spark should retard with higher rpm...odd?] A second "sister" 96 GTI, which idles and runs fine, same thing on timing, idle and rev up. ... Neither boat appears to have had the mag cover off. any ideas? // Tks *much* // andy in orem
