I had the joy of working on a gtr230 x today and ran into a bit of a problem on determining the supercharger rebuild interval the problem is that the owners manual states inspect at 200hrs and is maintenance free the problem I have after looking at the charger is that it is just a regular x charger and the part numbers seem to indicate this also perhaps someone can enlighten me on this seadoo says maintenance free but the part is clearly an x charger and is backwards compatible with older 255 and 260 doos that require rebuild at 200 hrs so what's up with this?

Sea Doo misprint! The 2019 and older 230's use the same exact X charger used on 255 and 260 HP skis and needs to be rebuilt at 100 hours, or every 2 years whichever occurs first. It is not "maintenance free" as Sea Doo claims.
The 2020 230 superchargers are the same design as the 2016 and newer 300 superchargers and are so called "maintenance free" by Seadoo, but that's hardly the case. They do wear out, the slip does need to be checked and re set, and they can be rebuilt. The GreenHulk Store carries the parts for the "maintenance free" superchargers here

Generally, you want 1 ft lb slip moment for every 1 psi boost anticipated. So if your supercharger makes 15 psi you want 15 ft lbs slip moment.

what is your current turnaround time, i only need washers replaced i can fed ex to you tommorrow? i'm in atlanta, please advise, thanks much, Craig
My turn around time is one day on full rebuilds. How many hours on your supercharger and how long since the last rebuild. I have not changed just washers on a supercharger in years.... other parts of the supercharger wear out, not just the washers need to be replaced.
