Well now we got that straight!

Simple answer to your original question, FIZZLE 4" setup with a catch can, heat shield if desired, redirect 2 front air intake tubes very near the filter once installed. Yes, remove the entire stock air box contraption, here's 2 pictures to help.

hey guys i have a couple questions after reading this thread. right now i have stock charger with stage one kit but i am looking at going to the x charger. as we all know the stage one kit has the 3" riva intake. is it really worth switch to the 4" fizzle kit? and my last question is with regarding the 4" kit. when installing the 4" kit do you not have to put a reducer on the inside of the intake to fit the charger properly? there for the end where the intake goes on the charger being smaller(3") reducing the flow to the same as a 3" intake?

the fizzle kit comes with a billet reducer that bolts on the charger

It still flows more than a 3" because there is less resistance for the supercharger to pull in air.

is it nessisary to put a catch can onto the fizzle intake or just a good idea? also how do you remove a riva 3" air intake from the hull does it slide forward or do you need to pull the intake manifold?

Catch can is easiest option, otherwise you have to find a way to plumb in the breather hose (should be possible to cut a hole in the kanaflex and use the OEM connector)

When i installed my fizzle the OEM intake had a bit of oil in it but it didnt really seem like it made it much further than just sitting in the pipe where the breather attached.

You would be wasting your time if you ran a 3" with the xcharger. You will be missing out on a lot. The Riva intake come out without the manifold coming off. Just disconnect everything and start wiggling. If I remember right it slides out towards the rear on a RXP. The cowling must come off though.

ya well i have the rive 3" in there already. took it out today for some cleaning and checking. easiest way to get it out is take the filter off, remove the hose from underneath, remove bolts holding the front of the tube to motor and then take the coupler off s/c then tilt the pipe up and pull towards back of machine. i guess i will be going with the fizzle kit and selling the 3" riva.
