pulling engine

  • pulling engine

    i have diconnected all the electronics up front and placed them on the engine,i would like to pull the engine with all the electronics intact.it looks very tight but would i be able to leave the intake mani and the exhaust mani on when i pull the engine.thanx

    Just take the 5 min. to pull off the intake mani.

        just took a look at it and yea you are right.hey you know the torx specs off hand for the intake mani.thanx

          three days ago i pulled out the engine of Rxp-x. removing intake mani. will take you a few minutes 4 or 5 bolts

            7 manifold
            2 Fuel rail

              yea thanks i also have shit load of wires on the engine since i am changing over the hole elec system also.this will help out do to the fact i can get all this elec crap out of my way.thanx for guys help.thanx

                6 small engine ground wires .should i put them back in the same places ?

                  i notice by quick glance that i would have to remove 2 ground wires if i remove the intake mani.why woul i have to remove the 2 screws that hold the injectors in it seems to me that if unplug all connectors and remove the 7 bolts it should all come together.thanx

                    Remove the fuel rail. It does two things: Removes the fuel and better allows you to maneuver the IM. Take it off before you break something.

                      Also, you want to remove the injectors and wrap them up and store them away in a cool dry place. Do the same for the rail.
